119880385 - Normal RECO MANIAC

After a run of not being able to get past the 3rd stage I suddenly got up to the 3rd boss without losing any lives or bombing. Of course I got obliterated by the 4th stage, I've never even seen it before this go, but a significant improvement.

I'm starting to get the hang of some of the gem milking in stage 2 but didn't use it during this particular run all that effectively. Still a long way to go

EDIT: I just cracked this score, getting almost 130,000,000 by the 3rd stage boss, I'm not gonna post it up tho just yet, I reckon I'll crack it again v soon now that I have a better understanding of the game

So I've been bashing away in original mode after conceeding that maniac is kicking my ass.
Here's my current record with normal RECO

I can get up to the last boss now so hopefully I'll at least be able to 1cc this sucker soon... (in original mode anyway).

Also here's a slightly better maniac score than the one I had logged on here before hand, though still pretty grim :oops:
