Well, here's a nice surprise. A player who goes by the twitter handle ela3_m got a new WR score in Pink Sweets score attack mode.

However, it's not a clear, so it doesn't replace DGN's record, but I'll put it up on the scoreboard anyway.

The top score on the May 2006 rev of Pink Sweets installed at Wai Wai Arcade is now 17.9 mil (up to stage 6, with Lace). This version of the PCB does not have the infinite lives trick, so it is comparable to the X360 port, where the highest score is less than 16mil. It will be interesting to see how much higher they will be able to go, but already I'm very impressed!

Fufufu got the counterstop in Futari Ultra with Abnormal Reco, an incredible accomplishment! It is not a 1CC, so he says he will keep playing until he gets a 1CC counterstop. This is on the X360 port, which is a bit easier than the PCB. I hope he will try to accomplish the same thing on the PCB! Remember, he was the first person in the world to do the counterstop (with 1CC) on the PCB with Normal Reco, way back in 2009.

Now, the last remaining Futari Ultra challenge (for some brave soul out there) is a counterstop with Normal Palm.

Fufufu did it: a counter stop 1CC in Futari Ultra with Abnormal Reco, on the X360 port! He achieved the counter stop well before the ST5 boss fight.
