Here's some details of the 1.2.0 update :

Here's some details of the 1.0.1 version update :

Version 1.0.1
Input Lag: 1 Frame (I think version 1.0.0 is 1 Frame as well)
・Fixed 2 player simultaneous play bug with Type B’s laser
・Fixed 2 player simultaneous tutorial display bug
・Removed ability to disable all play modes
・Improved graphics display for the maximum amount of bullets on EXA Label Ultimate play mode when set to Extreme difficulty

This update was made soon after the release date.
Fufufu got the counterstop in Futari Ultra with Abnormal Reco, an incredible accomplishment! It is not a 1CC, so he says he will keep playing until he gets a 1CC counterstop. This is on the X360 port, which is a bit easier than the PCB. I hope he will try to accomplish the same thing on the PCB! Remember, he was the first person in the world to do the counterstop (with 1CC) on the PCB with Normal Reco, way back in 2009.

Now, the last remaining Futari Ultra challenge (for some brave soul out there) is a counterstop with Normal Palm.

trap15 had a hack for the original rom to do the same thing as anyone that plays it for score hates that sound, it was pretty daft to put it in when the whole score system revolves having no lives in stock for the big multiplier, although I'm not good enough to be playing for score on any shmup really  :laugh:

The original is still a great looking example for a game of it's age.

Too bad I didn't finish with another life or two in stock. Pretty sloppy run in that regard. 4.2bil at the end of ST4, 6.7bil before the end bonus.
In a surprising development, Dame K.K. got the WR in DSMBL with Rosa (he already holds the record with Casper):

A few amendments in regard to DFK 1.5 in Stage 1-5, Ura route (with C-Strong, at least).

1) The end of the "tateana" section has slowdown on the PCB, but not on the X360 port.
2) The second midboss has slowdown when you use your hyper (shot) in its first phase on the X360 port, but not on the PCB.

These sort of cancel each other out in terms of the overall difficulty of chaining the stage, but are still worth pointing out.
