What are some good ones? I'm getting tired of having to glue my face to the screen to see shit.

The built-in tate fad of last decade is done. Now, the better deal is to screw the display onto a tateable stand, arm, or bracket mount.

The mount must support the display's weight and the display must have screw holes to fit the mount.

For typical desktop screens the office supply stores should have things like these:

I've seen nothing of the sort for TVs at any retail store. Googleing "portrait TV stand", I find mostly wall brackets and a few stands for use in presentations and public venues. There are cheap stuff which are tate-only and mid-range ones which let you install in either direction. Anything with an actual rotating function seems to be no less than US$200.

Additional considerations when rotating displays (and why you can forget about tateing CRT):

Any of the video editing stuff like NEC XM or the Sony series are great - easy to tate and you can even get 37" monitors in the XM series.

Since I made this thread I've actually learned that I play better without tate.
