We've also been looking for quality DonPachi replays, but so far there are none known or publicly available. There's this guy, but he's been silent for over a month; besides, it's obvious he's been doing it as a fancy-looking scoring demonstration, not as an actual superplay video.

I'm trying to watch SSK's replay at MARP (http://replay.marpirc.net/r/%28donpachihk,donpachij,donpachikr%29) but when I play it back it's game over at stage 1. I download his inp and wolfmame version but I can't find where the problem comes from. Can anyone record it and upload it ?

Most videos from replayburners are actually replays from MARP they have encoded and uploaded on youtube.

Here's an ESPGaluda Overheat 1cc I got earlier today. Took a small liberty with the challenge and nabbed the extend in stage 3, but that's an easy part anyway. Lots of fun to play, I recommend giving this way of playing a shot if you haven't already.

Very nice route for stages 1 (probably the best one I've seen yet) and 2; pity he lost that huge chain at the boss. Does he know what exactly prevented him from seeing the TLB on that run? Also, I wonder if getting 8 hypers from the first stage is possible; seems like it needs just a wee bit more point-blanking after the midboss.

EDIT: Cave has offically revealed the condition to meet her, 3 of 5 stages bee item perfect and less than 2 deaths.

Of the dozen or so TLB fights I've seen online and in person, dying once or not at all seems to be a requirement. Bombing could still be a factor, though (like triggering the auto-bomb only a couple of times). Rank doesn't seem to matter since that one guy got the TLB with a rank of 7 or so.

You can die up to once and get the TLB. You can miss the Stage 4 1UP (and die once) and still get the TLB. Bombs don't matter.

I've seen one guy die only once and not trigger her, so there's got to be some other factor besides lives.

I watched Clover-TAC and ISO empty their bomb stock during the lull right before the fourth boss (presumably to lower rank), so they don't seem too concerned about bombs being it.

Bomb here refers to Bombs consumed. If you triggered auto-bomb when you're carrying 3, then this equals to manual bomb 3 times in that calculation.

In case you still think the "bombs consumed" mean something, this month's issue of Arcadia magazine confirms what I posted earlier: the requirement for Hibachi is 1 death or less, and perfect bees on at least 3 stages. You can use as many bombs as you like.
