Mushi Futari 1.5 PCB sold for 87,760 yen, at auction. Doesn't look like a proxy bidder:

Tops removed two PCBs from their list yesterday: Dodonpachi Daifukkatsu Black Label for 429,000 yen and Dodonpachi Saidaioujou for 577,000 yen. So it seems they have sold. I did not save the pages prior, unfortunately, because I didn't notice them marked as "sold out" prior to removal. I did save the link to the SDOJ page, FWIW, though it doesn't show anything now:

CAVE Games / Ibara rapid bombing and the joy of random discovery

It only took me 13 years, but today I randomly discovered if you hold the B button (without a full bomb in stock) you'll keep bombing every time you pick up a bomb fragment, creating a 'rapid bomb' effect. It can be useful in parts of Stage 1, for example.

It's nice to keep discovering new things in these games, after so many years playing them.

I'm mainly playing DFK BL with C-Power (taking a break from Strong style) and Ibara with Bond Type C these days. I got an A score in Ibara last night, and 250 billion up to the stage 5 boss in DFK BL.

It took about a year (starting at zero CAVE PCBs), but I think I am now done buying CAVE PCBs. I only keep stuff I enjoy playing regularly, and for score, so many CAVE games are missing (including everything pre-2005). I don't think this list will expand, but it may reduce over time.

It says "Game has audio but graphics are garbled. The screen shows black with ghosting of sprites."

I am wondering what are the most probable causes of this. Improper use (and if so, what specifically?), failure of parts due to extensive use (and if so, what parts?), failure of parts due to age, etc? I wouldn't think it is merely due to "age".
