Is there anywhere you can find it cheaper right now? I haven't seen any on YAJ, and no one else is selling it.

It's just amazing that it was worth that to someone, regardless of supply.. or lack thereof.

So as not to impair the sale, I waited until it was over. Nice price there EOJ, you gotta be happy with that.  ;)

This was the most recent I saw:

After proxy fees and what not, that YAJ book in that link would cost $130+, plus shipping. A bit cheaper than mine, yes, but still pretty pricey.

Anyway, the guy who won mine hasn't paid. I wouldn't be surprised if he flakes out.

Hmm, not sure you'd end up with $50 in fees and shipping but I suppose you'd be getting there. It finished in excess of the retail price anyway, so the demand is real.
Can't believe the winning guy hasn't paid up though - if he doesn't that's just evil

I'd be primed to send that second chance offer!  :righton:

I went by Rinkya. Their exchange rate is currently 82 yen to 1 USD, that makes the book about $95 before any fees. Rinkya proxy fees for the item are $23 + $15. Total $133, plus shipping, which would run about $20~$30.

Anyway, no biggie on the auction. If they guy doesn't pay, I'll just offer it up for sale here for cheap.  :righton:

Makes me glad i have a man in Japan for these sorts of things. Without proxy fees and with real cost EMS, it's generally pretty cheap.

Don't be crazy man, you need to offer it to the second chance buyer. No-one's begruding you a sale because ebay is full of nutcases.  :righton:

Although if eBay completely flakes on you, I'd be willing to work something out.

The guy paid up, and it has been sent.

I gave half of the profits to Kaneda, as he was generous enough to buy the book for me at the Cave festival and sell it to me cheaply.
I didn't feel right about keeping such a large amount of profit, so I thought giving him half was the fair thing to do.
