Akai Katana Shin [JP X360 - 5/26/2011]

How can I play with 2 players co-op in Akai Katana Shin(Red) and Zetsu Akai Katana(Violet)?
I can only play with 2 players in arcade mode (Akai Katana=Blue) .

Shin and Zetsu are single player only.

SIN has a 4.95 billion "true ending" (TLB) Shin mode 1CC up on the leaderboards now. Really nice except for Stage 6, where he breaks his chain in the middle and loses out on a lot of points from that point on. Looks like this is the main reason why he didn't approach the 5.7 billion total he pieced together in Training mode a bit ago. Anyway, everything else is awesome and what he does on the TLB is a thing of beauty, so it's definitely worth a download and a watch.

Fun fact: SIN and Shin are the same word in Japanese (meaning "true"), just romanized differently.

I wish he would have just uploaded a replay instead of having people watch it in garbage quality.

I really haven't had much time to be serious with this game yet at all. I've just been dling random replays and watching.

Just started playing this today , Shin and Zetsu look gorgeous on my CRT 4.3 VGA Monitor but arcade looks stretched and washed out which is a shame , Would probably look better on a low res CRT ?

Im still totally confused how to play this properly tho ? I think this game deserves a proper guide

Did you try turning Wide Mode OFF? If you start a game in Arcade mode, then hit Start to Pause it and navigate to the video options, it's the bottom one.

Yeah i did that , Its cause im running it at 1280x720 so to get it looking nice in that res i have to play it in a little box screen with wallpaper , Its ok as im playing zetsu and that looks gorgeous in 720P 4.3

Okay. Then you should try playing arcade mode in 480p or another non-wide resolution. It's a 2 minute thing to change right before you launch the game.

ooohh DVD coming eh , Ill have to pick that up , Ive just finished with this game actually

Managed to get in the top ten on the leaderboard in Zetsu mode , Think i could of hit over 600mil if i stuck with it but i started to get bored so gave up at 500mil , Still a great game tho

Oops, scratch that. I didn't notice before that that score is NOT a 1CC - he used 58 retries to get the "perfect" scoring run. So it's basically the upper limit of what is possible, but shouldn't be viewed as the current WR. SIN got a 6.3bil 1CC score yesterday, and it's on the leaderboards:

gfa2-iso scored 6,517,469,038 on the dvd.
