Ibara PCB + art sold for 150,000 yen, at auction (one bid), to a proxy bidder:

https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/p679484413

This is quite bizarre because the last similar one sold for 86,000 yen at auction last week and it even included the box!

Tops updated their list today and removed three games. First, DFK BL, which sold for 432,000 yen. I did not save the page, unfortunately. This is the third DFK BL PCB they have sold in just 2 months, at the price of 427k~432k yen.

Second, a Pink Sweets PCB which sold for 245,000 yen. I did not save this page either.

They also removed Ibara Kuro from their list, which sold for 438,000 yen. I saved the link but did not take a snapshot of the page before they removed it (maybe someone else did?):

https://www.tops-game.jp/products/detail.php?product_id=5545

I am surprised the Kuro sold for as much as it did, considering Suruga-ya has had one in stock for months for a lot cheaper (378,000 yen) and it includes the original art/inst:

Mushihimetama PCB in "mint condition" sold at Tops for 75,600 yen today:

They had this in stock for over a year. I never thought I'd see the day (it actually sold for this price)!

So last time I did a major update, it was my spring break. And now it's my summer break! So I may add some prices and such from the last 3 months since I updated.

But I am starting to feel like it's not even important to link things or screenshot stuff anymore. Part of that came up because I thought it might be cool to track the serial numbers of these games, so I started looking up old links/screenshots I had, and even shmups/arcadeotaku forum posts have since been deleted. It's really frustrating. My absolute least favorite part of doing any of this tracking is the screenshot bullshit. It just takes up so much time and I'm wondering if anyone even cares anyway.

What I'm thinking is, then:
-Delete the link/screenshot columns
-Add a column for seller (forum name, ebay/YAJ seller, or just store seller)

If anyone wants to seek proof of any sales that seem shady, that can be on them. The main thing I think I have found from looking at all this data is that all of the sales generally end up in the same price region or have the same price trend. So no singular sale is the make-or-break. It's just too annoying for me to screenshot all of these auctions, and now to think of having to screenshot threads and link seller pictures and stuff... ugh. Even if there were a way to archive full webpages, I still think it would be an imperfect system.

EOJ, your thoughts? What would make this spreadsheet work best?

Screenshots are a pain to snap in time before the pages disappear (esp. Tops, Suruga-ya, etc), that's for sure. A link is fine, but even without it, we just need someone to list the price before sale and confirm the sale. That's what I've been trying to do in this thread.

More important than a screenshot is some detailed info on what the condition of the game is, and what art/box are included. These things can really make a difference in the price (esp. the art/box stuff).

Yeah, I usually try to add "includes art" or "full kit" or "has repair" or something in the notes in addition to how many bids if it was an auction. If there are no notes, it's just a bare board.

The screenshots and whatnot are just annoying. I really wish there were a way I could just save a fully-functioning webpage as it was when it was up. Like in a YAJ auction, being able to click on pictures and everything. Until somebody who knows that stuff steps in, I think I'll just take the data down and let the prices be what they are...

It was 172k for the Guwange. But yeah, still a bit crazy. Tops have sold a lot of high-priced games in recent months (three DFK BLs at 427k~432k, Pink Sweets at 245k, Ibara Kuro at 438k, SDOJ at 577k, etc).

In other news an Ibara PCB + some beat-up art (POP looks nice though) sold for 129,000 yen at Suruga-ya:

Is Dodonpachi seriously a $1700 game now? That was next on my list.

Mushi Futari 1.0, the version without Ultra, sold for 188,000 yen at Surugaya:

They had this in stock since last September, but it took them a long time to reduce the price to a realistic level.
