MFBL Japanese PCB with some art sold for 218,000 yen at Suruga-ya. It was a one-day sale price, reduced from 245k.

https://www.suruga-ya.jp/product/detail/180902392

This was on sale a week ago for 189k. I am surprised no one bought it at that price.

Mushihimesama boxed kit (non-bug fixed MASTER VER) sold for 123,000 yen, at auction, to a proxy bidder:

https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r356003178

Box is in very poor shape. A4 Marquee and movestrip are laminated. Pop has some damage.

I also recently sold a DFK 1.5 PCB for $1560 shipped and a Pink Sweets PCB for $1600 shipped.

Ibara PCB sold for a crazy 166,650 yen. Doesn't look like a proxy bidder:

https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/j598886540

A4 Marquee and movestrip are included, but the marquee is folded in the middle.

Deathsmiles II sold for a crazy 381,000 yen:

https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/auction/o351296061

This is a very fishy auction. The top bidder is the same guy who spent 166k yen on Ibara in the post above this one. The top two bidders in this auction don't seem to be proxies, whereas the last "normal" bid was 192,000, which is much more in line with previous end prices. After the last normal bid the two non-proxy bidders drove the price up over twice the level it normally goes for.

Yes that is quite the insane price, I was expecting it to go between 150-200K, and it went for double.  Could be fake or maybe just a ridiculous bidding war.

The MFBL went to a friend - the game isn't fully working, so I wasn't going to include that one in the tracker. Don't feel like putting the "junk" or "needs repair" sales on there.

Yeah, when he first posted, there was a bunch of "I still need to test these and I don't really know and  :whyioughtta:"

Then he took them off his sale listing... so that's kinda funky. But if it can get fixed easily, hell yeah $600

Holy moly, BEEP sold a boxed SDOJ kit for 745,800 yen (678,000 yen + 67,800 yen tax) today:

https://www.akihabara-beep.com/stock-pcb/

They only had this in stock for a few days before it sold. That's a new record price for this kit, AFAIK.

DFK PCB sold for 100,000 yen at auction (one bid). Doesn't look like a proxy bidder.

https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/t683863897

PCB was sold as untested, hence the lack of bids. Not marked if it was 1.5 or 1.0 (and, actually, there is one clue that it may have been 1.0...). Either way, the buyer left very positive feedback, so it looks like they got a great deal.  :righton:

Why do you think it is version 1.0?

Copy-paste listing title from Surugaya for their 1.0 listings. Seller says he bought it from Surugaya. Probably copied the title from his buying history page.

It all makes sense now.  I unfortunately know the history of that board as I owned it at one point.

I can confirm that it is not V1.0 but 1.5.  I originally purchased a 1.0 board (or so I thought) from Surugaya and was instead sent that board , which had a different serial number than the one they showed in the listing.

I returned the board and spent months fighting with FromJapan trying to get my money back as the board was held in customs for like 5 months.  The gave me a bunch of bullshit about it being held in customs even though THEY refused to accept it back.  I had to file claims with the post office to see what happened and they confirmed to me that FromJapan refused to pick it up.  I confronted them with this evidence and then it "magically" arrived to them a few days later.  They finally gave me my money back, but only in store credit aka From Japan points, which was a huge slap in the face since they were the ones that fucked up and didn't verify it properly.

They are suppose to guarantee their items visually on arrival, and it was definitely not the same item shown in the listing.  So I don't know if Surugaya just fucked up and sent the wrong board or if they were trying to pull a fast one and see if anyone noticed, but it left a very sour taste in my mouth.

I wonder if the seller is someone affiliated with FromJapan and they just wanted to get rid of it and couldn't return it to Surugaya or whatever?  I really have no idea, but I do know the board works and is version 1.5.

TL;DR - That board is in fact a 1.5, not 1.0

Wow, what a story.  :o

Good to know Surugaya's listings are not accurate all the time when it comes to game version. That will put me off buying anything ambiguous from them.

Still the eventual buyer got a pretty good deal even for a 1.5 board at 100K yen.  That's 1/3 of what I paid for the same damn board...

Great deal on that one! And serial number 00008. Only one date stamp on the back, so it's not a converted DFK PCB, like higher serial AKs.
