140mil Ibara Arrange mode (PS2) replay:

http://hachi.dip.jp/ibara/

Last one on the page is the full run, the rest are some other Ibara Arrange vids.

The same guy has some DDP:DFK replays up as well:

http://hachi.dip.jp/dodonpachi/

EDIT:

It's the same guy as in this blog:

Check this blog daily for ddp df videos:

http://crs-west.blogzine.jp/

The guy takes down videos quickly, so check frequently.

DDP DFK Stage 1 - 4.9 billion
DDP DFK Stage 2 - 11.0 billion
DDP DFK Stage 3 - 23.6 billion

Still haven't nailed stage 4.

EDIT

Links gone. Better videos in a later post.

Wow, great vids.  Had no idea you can skip destroying the container on the right and still trigger the ura loop.  Also, your bullet harvesting on that first section is a thing of beauty!

Beautiful. I definitely dislike the gameplay though, I feel like there is too little dodging with all this bullet cancelling :( I'm curious to see more 2nd loop, and also what it's like with Bomb Style.

Are they supposed to be upside down, or is there something wrong on my end?

I just rotated my desktop 180 degrees.  Kind of awkward, but it worked.  I'm sure there are video players with the option to rotate video as well.

I use the VLC player, but it only rotates 90 degrees. So it changes the upside vid to a horizontal one (equally troublesome).

I think I'll just skip these vids. Too much hassle.

You can rotate videos freely with Media player classic. Go to options, and under Playback/Output change "DirectShow Video" to VMR7 or VMR9, and then change to "Use texture surfaces and render video in 3D". Then use ALT + Numpad-1 & Numpad-3 to rotate video and Numpad-1 & Numpad-9 to scale it. Pretty nifty.
Nice vids guys, keep em coming :)

Okay, I've reuploaded it, and it's available in Ura Loop.

Here's a blog with some Ikaruga doubleplay vids (done on the XBLA version):

http://mas.bne.jp/ikaruga/

Haven't had a chance to watch any of them yet, so I can't comment on the quality.

That's not a Doubleplay, it's a regular 2 player vid. Also the scoring is quite bad.
Noite that I haven't downloaded the vid and I'm just guessing.

Two ddp df videos:

http://www.filebank.co.jp/wblink/bd945005f67061003e88a33108b8385a

One shows good ways to beat all the bosses (except for the TLB).

Those vids are very nice (Stage 1-4 and all the Tsuujou loop boss fights), particularly because they're done in the Bomb style (and most people seem to be using Power style).

DDP:DFK 1.5 Meka Bee boss vid from Tsumanne:

Top vid. Password is "tokyo". Make sure to use IE to download through filebank. I'm downloading right now, so can't comment, but Tsumanne's vids are always good.

DDP DFK Stage 1 - 4.9 billion
DDP DFK Stage 2 - 11.0 billion
DDP DFK Stage 3 - 23.6 billion

Still haven't nailed stage 4.

So I've been watching this and referring to the post you wrote on shmups about the hyper system to get a better grip on this game.

A couple things that stand out to me about these vids:

In Stage 2, your counter goes up by nearly 6000 as you laser the mid-boss after his last pattern.  Do you know why this happens?  Does boost hyper laser have some sort of chain acceleration property?

On Stage 1, when you back up to harvest bullet streams in the very beginning, this is just to raise your chain right?  Does it help get your hyper meter up at all?  Because at one point I believe when you take out the first water tank or whatever, your hyper meter jumps up by ~40%

DoDonPachi Daifukkatsu v1.5 Ura Loop - Type C-B
Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3 - Part 4

It's a survival run. Skip to part 4 if you want to see Hibachi.  Nicovideo once again.

Mecha Hibachi, or whatever you call the form before the ultimate form is just as brutal in the Ura loop as the normal loop.  Now let's see a power mode run.

EDIT

I made new videos for the first 4 stages.

DDP DFK Stage 1 - 5. billion
DDP DFK Stage 2 - 11.5 billion
DDP DFK Stage 3 - 27.7 billion
DDP DFK Stage 4 - 32.4 billion

Stage 4 is pretty sloppy, and the ending is kind of embarrassing.

Man, possibly the most annoying way to dl a file ever.  Why do I have to install a program just to DL?  These Japanese kids need to learn about rapidshare, sendspace etc.

If you check the options, you can set it to download normally.
