There are 3 Muchi Pork partial kits on on Yahoo.jp going for 50k now with 1 day left, one doesn't even have bids. Also one for 55k without any bids too. Seems like it must be a good time to buy one if you ever wanted to!

What is the going rate for a MMP kit/pcb on YHJ? There looks to be a kit on there form Fujita BIN 80k, but I can't tell if there's anything missing?

http://openuser.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/user/benbenjp1122

That other one looked to go for 65k  :-X

The exchange rate has dropped something awful over here too. 193yen to the ? :( So I'd like it cheap (doesn't everyone ;) )

I see Muchi Porks going all the time in the range of 50-80k, so it's probably just a matter of how patient you are to see one at a good price.

You might also try and contact Fetarkatight/Starpine and see if they still have them for sale, I don't think they all got bids.

All the time?  This is the 2nd full kit I've seen in ages.  Better get my eyes checked.

I think if you look over the last 10 years that 193 would be a bit below average at best.  I know I'm jumping for joy now that the dollar is at the long-term average of 110.

Definitely not... nor Japanese.  But will answer through the auction system.  I buy a lot from him/them, so if you're after something lemme know.

No you are right, they were partial kits and not full ones. I didn't read that he was looking to get a full kit. :I

All the starpine/fetarknight ones were bare PCBs with some copied art except one, which had the marquee, movestrip, and copied instructions. They all sold. Full, boxed MMP kits are rare on YAJ.

Ah, I see. I?ve only been dealing in GBP>JPY for the last 2 years tops, so my knowledge is somewhat limited. I bought a rake of stuff at 225 & another at 213 last year. I just assumed that this was the norm :(

GBP>USD is a different story. 1st time I visited the US, 9 years ago, the exchange rate was $1.40 ish, so you will never hear me moaning about the current $1.90+. I managed to get $2.02 when I visited NYC in March :)

Thanks very much for the offer GP. If a bare pcb pops up I might nab one. I cant quite stretch to the 80,000 + fees for a full kit at the minute

There's a bid on the Futari already & that MMP from Fujita is back up at 80k

Can someone tell me if the MMP is a complete kit? I'm sorely tempted by it

It's just missing the CD and piggie keychain. But those are sort of "extras". It also has the wrong box (an old style one, it should have a new style box), but most people don't care about stuff like that.

There was a Deathsmiles kit up on YAJ last night that sold for the BIN of 110,000 yen in just a few hours. Seems this game is still quite in demand!

Legend has brand new Daifukkatsu kits (with poster) for $1798. Still too rich for my blood. I'll wait for the sub $1500 price in 1-2 months.

Legend has Mushi Futari BLACK LABEL kits (w/ poster) brand new for $1,198 (wonder if they have the sticker on the box at this price...). Killer price!
They sell MMP kits for $100 more than this, for whatever strange reason.

Mushi PCB with graphical glitches, some "striped patterns" in the background. Looks like red lines. Anyway, more of a warning than anything. Wouldn't want someone to bid on this thinking they'd be getting a good deal.

Another thing I notice is the PCB is missing the brown battery. Maybe this led to the problem? I had no idea you could even play the PCB without that battery.

If you mean the thing on the lower right near the heat sink, that's not a battery, it's a capacitor. Often capacitors are used to filter power and such. Unclear if the problem shown is a consequence of that missing capacitor. It's certainly odd that the board is missing it.

C-type, bomb style. Ura loop ALL (One remaining life), and Tsuujou loop ALL (3 remaining lives). Full Ura run, but only the second loop is shown for Tsuujou. The first loop is 210bil (which is really good) in the Ura run.

I doubt it came with any kits, but sorry, I have no clue about where to get it. Must be some doujin. I haven't read about it on any Japanese forums, though.

DDP DFK 1.5 kit with a 100,000yen buy-it-now price:

http://page2.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/b92517523

Be warned this is the same seller I got my Mushi Futari 1.0 PCB from, and he said in the auction "Ultra is playable", which was a lie. So I'm not sure what else he'd lie about. Personally I'm not too keen on his auctions any more. Roll the dice if you want, you might get lucky.

So Ultra isn't unlockable on your board?

Nope. It's one of the weird ones that requires a 29,400 yen fee to have it serviced by AMI to get Ultra unlocked.

Strange.  I wonder if the other ones were released later?
