CAVE/AMI Ver 2 box in poor condition (lots of tape, label marks, writing on it, etc) sold for 16,500 yen, at auction, to a proxy bidder.

https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e380229449

There were four bidders on this, all four were proxies.

Mushi Futari PCB starting at 50 yen:

https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r351132384

The seller lists it as "junk" because he has "no way of testing if it works". Red flag there, guys -- 99% chance it really doesn't work, or has some serious issues. He also guesses it is Ver 1.5, but isn't sure.

Also keep in mind Suruga-ya would buy this from him for about 70,000 yen if it was working (and all he has to do is mail it to them). But if it doesn't work, they won't take it.

13 hours left and it's been bid up to 82,000 yen.  I feel bad for whoever buys this.

Futari 1.5 PCB:

https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/s690385013

This is the no-dot original version (referring to the number of dots, or periods, in the MASTER VER string). I have seen two-dot and three-dot revisions (three-dot is the final one). I still don't know what the differences among them are, but the X360 version is a port of the final three-dot version.

SDOJ boxed kit auction!

https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/399587106

Artset is complete and looks to be in fine condition. The box is in poor condition, however, and is missing one of the inserts.

Although not pictured, in the description it states the poster is also included!

Akai Katana PCB in stock at suruga-ya for 450,000 yen.

https://www.suruga-ya.jp/product/detail/180001265

There are now 3 Akai Katana PCBs available at Japanese shops. This one, the one at Tops for 423k yen (which has been sitting there almost a year) and the boxed kit (w/ wrong box) at Game-Kanaya for 440k. Game-Kanaya's is the best deal of the three.

Already bid up to 500,000 with 3 days left. I expected it to go for at least 500k, we'll see if it goes any higher. Lots of proxy bidders active, though the current high bidder doesn't look like a proxy.

Guwange box! Not in great shape, but if anyone out there has PCB serial number GU0032, this is your box.

Probably Cave's least popular game but also one of the rarest.

I agree it's not a very popular game, but I don't think it's that rare. Initially they made 500 of these. Though it looks like at least 100 were later reprogrammed into either Mushihimesama or Ibara Kuro. (I'd guess there are 300-400 Mushihimetamas out there today.)

The BLs and 1.0's are much rarer.
