Gave C-Bomb a whirl tonight, and got this:

It feels like such a different game with the bomb types. I'm starting to enjoy them a lot more now.

Yeah, there is one "super boss" at the end of the Omote Loop, the mecha-bee. In the Ura loop there is Hibachi after the Mecha bee.

It's not that hard w/ Strong style. I haven't gotten to the second loop of any other Donpachi game so I can't comment on that comparison. I'd wager it's not as hard as any other CAVE 2-ALL. It's a similar difficulty to 1CC'ing Futari 1.5's Maniac.

Is there a  method to keep your gauge meter in the hook or not?Like more you smash the "c button" something like this.
I'm might be wrong but EOJ you have talk about rapid fire somewhere haven't you?

You need to tap C sometimes to keep your chain going (particularly in stage 5). Some Japanese cabs have a rapid C button hooked up for this purpose. But it's not hard to tap yourself, because you don't have to tap too fast.

Ended stage 1-4 with 70bil. Everything was going great until I got to the first stage 1-5 midboss with a 7000+ hit and autobombed right at the end, killing my chain, costing me 5-10 bil in the easy section right after, and causing me to shout out a loud expletive that surely must have startled my neighbors. Three dumb deaths in stage 5, but I no missed the end boss with an aggressive use of hypers.

First time I no-missed the first loop, but I used 6 bombs, so no Ura. Ended the first loop with 39bil, only got 3 bil from the second.  :-\
Seems like I 2-ALL it every time I play it now, which is nice.  :righton: Now I just want to get to the Ura loop.
