OnLive - the new 3DO
« on: March 24, 2009, 07:02:45 PM »

I remember reading interviews with Tripp Hawkins, CEO of 3DO, back in the mid-90s, and they sounded eerily similar to OnLive's claims.
Of course this is doomed for failure, for the simple fact that this will never happen in Japan, and most good game companies are in Japan.
I also hate the idea of "streaming" games. I like to buy a game and keep it on my shelf.

I think there was something like that back in the 2600 age, or at least it was some sort of download service.

AAA games from publishers like Electronic Arts, Take-Two, Ubisoft, Atari, and others
Here's your problem.
