A few days ago I saw the fruitiest-looking guy in the world (all sorts of make-up, girls pants and low-cut shirt, dracula-like cape thingy) get a J+ score in Battle Garegga with Gain. It was both impressive and emasculating at the same time.

I saw Kamui once at HEY and he didn't look like that... wait a second, if that guy was very short and skinny he was certainly Risu, another garegga freak. He uses to dress like you said, though he doesn't use Gain that much.

There is a picture of Kamui (I think) on page 97 of this month's Arcadia.  He is next to SWY.  Maybe you can check to see if that is the same person.

Thanks for mentioning that.  Arcadia's shooting-related content is now so slim that it's simply hard to find anymore.  This issue was basically all fucking card games.  :-\

Yea that's him. I'm glad I was able to see him smoke Garegga for free rather than paying 1500 yen to see a sideways tate projected on the wall.

Yeah, sorry for my mistake. Apparently I had the chance to see him play only when he was dressed quite "normal".

No details for the DFK scores?

What details are you looking for? EOJ posted the scores pretty much exactly as they appeared in the magazine.

I was asking if some other details were reported, like a couple lines of comment or stuff like that.
If no other info are available there's no problem at all.

What.

You sure it says 32,721,130? Should it read 35,721,730 instead?

Edit: The green highlights denotes the score as an ALL clear for those who don't know.

Thanks adverse, added them all.
About that Ibara score: I only list the highest score, I don't care if it's a 1cc or not. Eventhough 80% of the scores in my list are taken from Arcadia, I add scores from other sources too.

Didn't noticed it elsewhere on the board so I put it in here, anyway, SPS announced on his mixi another crazy update for the Ketsui record.

552.004.001Type A
That's some beast score.

275 mil on the first loop, 1 miss and 1 bomb at Doom's last pattern. Cleared with 7 lives and 0 boms in stock. When I as reading this I had a huge billboard in my head with OMG written on it. Maybe this is his last shot at Ketsui, as in his own words boosting the score beyond this woul require some big changes in strategy.

That is burly stuff. I'd love to know how many hours he's sunk into it over the years.

So is Arcadia going to count the DFK scores from the DVD or what?

I don't recall them ever posting scores from the DVDs, but usually the scores get beaten shortly after the superplays are made public. Not sure if anyone except for SWY himself with get the mighty trillion any time soon.

Ooops, didn't check the Cowboys' site. I guess it's still ok to post it here. It appears that SPS will move to DDP DOJ, after he's done with Ketsui .

Wow, does he intend to challenge the master?  There's like only a few points at which HFD's score could be beaten.  IIRC, he breaks chain in the second loop once and misses 2 times? on Hibachi.  Not a lot of room for improvement lol.

There might still be a somewhat different hyper route that might give marginally better results. That, plus the fact that not all chains are perfected (as demonstrated in the Omake section where HFD gets 4000+ hits on 1-5, which he doesn't do in the main video). Missing less on Hibachi is also a potential improvement, as unlikely as it sounds. On the other hand, HFD's type B run isn't quite as polished as type A, so a player of SPS's caliber could probably push it to ~3.4 billion or so? We'll see.

Iirc, WIZ and Kamui are two players from the same team, which I suppose is named T3.

Kamui is the one playing Garegga.

Holy shit at that God mode score. Just a hair from 6bil. I have a feeling ZAP won't give up until he gets the 6+bil clear. That's a replay I'd pay good money for!

And man, SPS needs to find a new game already.
