And with the games I would also like some color-coding a la Giga Wing when the scores start to get past the millions so I know whether to keep walking when I pass someone playing or if I should be taking notes. Now when I look at some cat's score I have to lline it up with the H of the 'High Score' so I can tell if he's rocking digits or just scrubbing away with the auto-bomb.

At any rate, I'm looking forward to the matsuri so I can get the DVD and live vicariously through these talented players.

I'm tempted to go, but mainly to bump elbows.  The DVD looks cool, but I can wait or buy a scalped one.  Honestly, my time lately is limited, and spending literally a whole Saturday dorkin' out may not be in the cards.  I'm taking a trip soon after so I should spend some time w/ the little punk.

I wonder what the requirements are to get a guaranteed spot in the signing party.

All bees in the first loop, no miss no bomb.  ::Cymbal crash::

Been seeing some crazy second loop patterns at Alpha Station recently, so especially looking forward to 2-3 and 2-5.

I really, really want to get this DVD, but I can't just take off and go to Japan to get it. ;-;  Just going to have to hope I can snag one secondhand.

That Mushi poster is pretty fucking ill IMO.   Always liked that piece from the art book.

I guess my IBL poster is now officially worthless... although that one has the logo in a slightly different spot.  Whoopie

EDIT: It's not listed, but it looks like there's an extra piece in the ESPGaluda instruction set -- maybe the one they passed out at the loke test.

While there are more obscure items than last year, I find the Ketsui Rubiks Cube and Foletta Milk Bread in box (which you can use a piggy bank afterwards) interesting.

Whoa, they've got the DOJ/ESPGaluda arrange album this time!

If anyone's planning on going, please shoot me a PM.  I'd like to get a copy of the DOJ/ESPGaluda arrange album and the DOJ BL instruction trading set; I can Paypal you the cost of the goods + your cut before the event, and shipping costs when you've got an idea of what they are.  Thanks!

That's a pretty old album... and generally one of the easier ones to find.

I know it's been around for a while, and everyone keeps saying it's pretty common, though I never managed to stumble across it in any of my shopping expeditions.  In any case, I'm just glad for a chance to snag a new copy at a reasonable price.

Just a question about the artsets - does anyone know if these Matsuri reproduced ones are the same as the originals? As GP knows my Espgaluda movestrip was butchered by someone with a grudge against Cave.

Doesn't look like I'll be able to make it to the Matsuri. Kind of sucks, I really want that DVD. Hopefully I won't get raped getting it second-hand at Mandarake in the coming months.

Cave-STG needs an official rep for buying at these events, would definitely be worth a bit of commission. If anyone would be kind enough to take a few orders I'd love PM.  :-[

Doesn't look like I'll be able to make it to the Matsuri.

That takes away most of my incentive.  The queue for these things is so fucked.  It's more economical for me to pay an extra 2500 yen and buy it off of Yahoo the next day.  I means seriously, you're looking at a minimum of 4 hours of your life to queue and travel... very likely more.

Yea, kind of sucks. I've been in Tokyo for a couple weeks now on my summer break and with my relationship with my girlfriend dying a painful death, I've had to stay at capsule hotels and the price is a bit more than I can bear so I'm heading back a bit early. The other Cave DVDs are pretty easy to come by so I don't imagine this one will evaporate any time soon, although its a bummer I couldn't hang out with Adverse and GP and nerd out for the day.

Didn't think so. :)
The ESPGaluda II Tapestry isn't a bad idea though.

There are a few things I fancy but granted, not as much as last time. Sad to see no Ketsui scarves though.

Mihara says seiri-ken distro starts at 5:30 am.

This is the location too:

http://www.bellesalle.co.jp/bs_akihabara/

He doesn't say anything about them letting him speak about BLEX, did they snub him?

Anyways I'm working that day so I won't be able to buy anything.   :-\
