I think I'm done with this mode until someone beats my score. Navigating through the final section of Stage 4 (where my credit ended in this run) looks like it would take a lot of work.

I got to the end of stage 3 on my run. It took me a about 10-20 runs to figure out the game is meant to be played at the top of the screen. A little too much work for me right now.

Yeah, Harahara is sorta like that too - you have to nab enemies just as they appear so you don't get the bullet backlash. The end of Stage 4 is a mess though, as you can't get to the top of the screen with all the enemies there, so it just rains bullets.

Thanks drboom, but I'm not done yet! My first credit of the day gave this:

NORMAL MODE - IKUO

Close to a perfect run with my current strats. I beat the crap out of stage 5 in this one, going into the last boss with 5 spare lives. Never lost my medal chain throughout the run. Only thing I fudged was the last phase of the last boss. I used a bomb instead of my lard attack at the very end, killing it, and costing me 2-3 mil. Would have been just enough to push me over 180mil.

But I'm pretty happy with this score, especially since it's also a 1CC.

Lost my chain once on ST4. Arrived at Last Boss with 5 lives and did the same -> damaged it too much and it died before I could leach another 2 mil with a spare life. Otherwise happy, considering its Rafute.
