A minor increase in my DFK 1.5 Omote 2-ALL score, with C-Strong. I had 120bil at the end of ST4, then a chain break in the middle of ST5 stopped my score in its tracks, and lots of autobombs in the Omote loop did not help much.

I've also been dabbling in B-Strong in both 1.5 and BL again, and may try to get some higher scores with that ship as well.

I improved my Ura loop score with C-Strong in DFK 1.5 (X360) today, and got up to the last phase of Hibachi. 180bil first loop, but only 31bil before stage 5. If I could chain everything in the first five stages with my current patterns, I'd be looking at around 300bil before the loop. More practice is needed!

First time I beat the game with 3 spare lives in stock, which gave me a nice 4 bil end bonus! Unfortunately, I messed up the scoring in stages 3 and 4.

Too bad I didn't finish with another life or two in stock. Pretty sloppy run in that regard. 4.2bil at the end of ST4, 6.7bil before the end bonus.

Inspired by fufufu's Abnormal Reco Ultra mode score, yesterday I started playing Ver 1.5 Maniac (X360) with Abnormal Reco. Today I made it to the last boss with 350 mil, which is a good start!

It was no miss until the end of ST4, where I lost two lives. I actually missed the 1UP in ST5, but still entered into the last boss fight with two lives. I'd really like to 1CC it with this ship type, so I'll keep trying.

I finally got over 900 mil in MFBL Maniac with Reco! This is on the X360 port.

I got to the last boss with three bombs and three lives, but did lots of panic bombs just to make sure I'd clear it with over 900mil.

Only one death away from reaching Hibachi! Playing the X360 version right after the PCB reminds me of how much easier it is, but it's still a lot of fun, and the Training Mode is very useful!

I'm back to C-Strong in DFK 1.5. B-Strong is fun too, but I prefer C and seem to score better with it.

I've been really enjoying the Akai Katana PS4 port, and got 348mil today:

348,916,990 - ALL [Lx4, Bx1]

Replay is on the leaderboards. It's so nice to FINALLY have a (90%+) arcade-perfect home port of this game, with a proper training mode. Actually, I think it's kind of a miracle this even exists. I've been practicing stages 3 and 4 a lot and hope to keep improving.

Pretty sloppy with three deaths before stage 5! I have been practicing the first three stages a lot, but messed up a lot of scoring opportunities in this run.

Still chipping away at Akai Katana. Here is today's increase:

Not bad overall, except the ST5 boss which I really messed up. I only got 81mil in Stage 5 in this run, whereas in my previous 361mil run I got 98mil.

Pretty good run except for Stage 3, which I messed up. I got 87mil there in training mode today, but only 73mil in this run.

Replay is on the PS4 leaderboards. I'm really loving this game now that I understand the intricacies of the scoring. My ST1-3 patterns are pretty solid, but I still don't have a clear pattern throughout ST4 or ST5, so I'll start practicing those in training mode.

Replay is on the PS4 leaderboards, as usual. Pretty good from start to finish, except ST5 where I only got 90mil. I usually get around 98mil there.

I was in the mood for some MMP this week so I gave 1.01 a whirl with Rafute. First 2-ALL in many years, and I beat my old 311mil score from 2011! Still don't know what I'm doing the the second loop.

I did a credit in MMP Ver 1.00 (X360) and improved my Momo score by quite a bit:

188,549,170 - Momo - 1-ALL

I missed the last two cancels on the ST4 boss and the last cancel on the final boss, costing me around 10mil total. Also one chain break that cost me several million!

Pretty close to my best Momo PCB score of 191mil!

Finally got over 200mil in MMP with Momo (PCB Version)!

202,888,130 - Momo - 1-ALL

I killed the final boss before I could do the gold cancel, costing me a few million. I also missed the first two cancels on that boss. Oh well, maybe next time! Otherwise a pretty good run. 145mil at the end of ST4. A run with full boss cancels and no chain drops would put me at about 210mil.
