Since the danmakugata site died, I find it time consuming and difficult to find new videos. I am not sure where to put a video thread, or if it would be a good idea, but perhaps we can have a sticky thread where people post links to new videos.  Perhaps the top post could be a master list of sites with videos, sorted by which game the site concentrates on.

I just watched it. Quite an amazing run, though he did screw up on Seseri's second form. One death on the ST4 boss, but that was probably intentional (even though it doesn't look like it is in the vid).

Another nicovideo link.  1-5 run.  The guy's chain is worth 7 million points before he dies during the laser doom section.  Gets over 20 billion points from the stage regardless.  You could probably get over 50 billion points from the first loop of this game.  You can probably get 50 billion points from just stage 5.

Full chain of 1-5. Finishes with a chain of 16,724, but it doesn't even matter because he counter stops the game before he even gets to the boss. Ooops.

Edit: The dialog choices at the end seem to be different. Someone who can read Japanese should figure out what it says. :I

Ah, so the value of gems is set when they are created! I always assumed they were multiplied by the level of your gem counter when you picked them up. Awesome videos!

Very cool, thanks for that. I probably have more time on Death Label than I do DOJ proper but have only been to the 2nd loop a handful of times and never past the 1st boss. :oops: I didn't realize that you aren't given any lives at all in the 2nd loop. Has anybody ever cleared both loops?

There is a well known shmup player named LYH.  There is also someone named LYH who, according to the cave scoreboard, has cleared both loops.  I don't know if they are the same person.

There are no public (or private) videos of anyone clearing both loops that I know of.

Very interesting, thanks for the info zlk. I would love to see a 2-All video of Death Label sometime if for no other reason than to see the super pissed off dual Hibachi fight.

@EOJ: I think he's talking about the online leaderboards where you entered in the code that was generated after a run. I haven't checked them for a very long time but I think the highest anyone had been the last time I looked was like 2-4.

I don?t understand the power style in Daifukkatsu.

I thought it has no bomb, and the shoot works on normal and boost with the B button, but in the video that zlk posted he is bombimg a couple of times and the boost don?t use.

Can any one explain how it works, and what buttons use for change between normal shoot and boost, and bombs?
