Ok, got my Japanese Xbox 360 today and Ketsui as well. I've had SNS3 in my drawer for a year and I really liked SNS2.

So I played a credit and I must say it's very beautiful but it seems a little easy (haven't got that far though)

So, opinion?

I'll have to dust this off and give it another go.  Got it for the Wii a while back after picking up a decent arcade stick, played for a while, and then set it aside on account of the Wii's TV being only component in input, and situated such that any games requiring one to sit just a few feet from the screen--i.e. shmups--would have to be played at an angle from the side.

What I remember of it, though, was that it was pretty fun.  It had that Shikigami feeling where if you're just blasting your way through everything, it's pretty easy through stage 3 or so, but when you start trying to maximize your multiplier and coins, the real challenge appears.  The story mode was actually competently translated too, so we get the series' intentionally nonsensical plot, instead of the accidental nonsense from the horrible Castle Shikigami 2 by XSeed.  Voice acting wasn't too bad, either.

Beyond that, I don't remember too much, sorry.  :-\

Kotorou and Time Stopping Girl give little incentive to play with the other characters. Last boss is pretty silly, nothing like having a boss transforming about 4 different times to really drag things on.

I think it's basically SNS2 in HD, which is a good thing, but SNS2 feels better. It was the first 360 shmup and it shows, since the leaderboards are fairly broken (I couldn't access them... ever). It's actually the only 360 shmup I'm missing (I don't really count Mamoru), if you end up wanting to sell it, let me know.
