I think about 27% of those posts are from me.  :laugh:

I am proud of the level of quality on these forums - the number of garbage posts here is very low in comparison to many other forums out there.
Trolling, flames, spam, and so forth are basically non-existent here. And I'd like to keep it that way!

GP really boggles the mind with his passion for posting. 8000+ at shmups, 7600+ at assembler, 5800+ at gamengai, 800 here...I once was googling some info about jobs in Japan or something and found some Japan-related forum and sure enough, GP was on there with like 5000 posts! I just googled his name and found another forum where he has 1700! Dude's a machine.

I'm guessing that the higher quality level of posting is because the site is so specialized. On forums like Shmups or SRK you see a lot of new members come and go who have no idea what they're talking about, an no investment in the community. I have noticed that Dustloop (Guilty Gear and BlazBlue forum) also has a similar high quality level to Cave-STG for probably similar reasons.
