My Dai-Fukkatsu stick.

Modded Madcatz TE with modded Suzo 500 joystick. (Extremely responsive, got better in Futari just by switching to this stick

)
Art done in photoshop and then laminated and glued.

Thanks to Emphatic and RetroSteff for helping with the custom shaft.
Thanks to MegaElixir for the cave combat picture.

Wow, say...two months waiting for parts.

Building it I would say 2-3 days.

Yeah, it's like a mile long. Looks pretty uncomfortable when you're used to LS-32's shaft!

It looks longer on the pics but yes, it is a bit longer than a LS-32.
Im planning to lower it in the future, an hours work and it should be done.

I have quite big hands so for me it feels quite comfortable right now.

Art was done in photoshop from 28 different pictures...so it was alot of hunting CAVE DFK high res art.
The element daughter shadows are the character art from the DFK homepage.
Then I printed the pic on glossy paper, laminated it and put some very thin doublesided adhesive tape to fit it on the TE metal plate. Then just cut the holes with a knife.

WOW, SUPA COOOL, when they port Daifukatsu you can send this to HORI so that they can clone it for a similar version.

Well, here is now THE BLACK LABEL Edition
with metal dustwasher,
shortened shaft (Now sits at the exact same height as a LS-32),
adjustable microswitches.
LED lighting in both buttons and joystick. (Activated on press.)

The new dustwasher and led buttons are fantastic but the direction leds are ruining the perfection, in my opinion.

Yeah, from my perspective the directive leds was the perfection cos the stick got so lonely when the buttons got all the bling.

^^This. I just love my SUZO 500, and even more now that I got some better switches (OMRON ones from Akihabarashop). I just put some electrical tape on mine as a spacer, so now my 500 is better calibrated than before.
