Looks like a cutesy version. The title screen is hard to read, but it looks like "Miku Smiles". April fools??

EDIT: Thread title updated to reflect the most recent info.

Ok, it is indeed called "Miku Smiles", and it's based on the character Hatsune Miku, who can be seen here:

Most likely a doujin.

And what franchise is that dirty whore from?

EOJ

It's from some voice synthesizer software used to create your own J-pop songs.

If you've been to Akihabara recently, that character's image has been plastered all over the place.  Apparently this particular speech (song) synthesizer is actually a pretty neat piece of kit, but why they had to slap the cutesy and/or underage mascot on the software is beyond me.  Sure seems to sell well with the nerdy crowd, though, even at ~10,000 yen a pop.

Incidentally, despite this software being marketed at the Akiba-type crowd, the parent company are actually complete dicks with regards to tight-fisted control of the likeness and doujin software--cracking down on the porny stuff I could see, but they're apparently taking the zero-tolerance route, so who knows if this'll suddely disappear or not.

I googled about trying to find information on this decidedly doujin-y GBA game and the best hit I could find was the homepage of a dude who apparently does illustration for Vanillaware, and by having one screenshot of the game buried in the middle of his website is apparently the go-to resource for the title by virtue of nearly every other Google result linking back to his page?  He also appears to have a gallery with several completed Dezaemon games he's made.  If that's worth anything.

That actually looks like fun. At least more fun than Nanostray!
What a bizzare combo: Cave Deathsmiles tribute game + voice mod software girl mascot = totally new game for a 10 year-old handheld console.
