The community-ran Shmups Wiki now has several games listed, including many by CAVE: https://shmups.wiki/library/CAVE

Personally, I did some work on the company's Wikipedia article back in 2013 but it hasn't seen much improvement since. I'll probably rewrite it soon with all the wiki markup experience I've amassed over the years.

I'm necroing this thread to let everyone know that the community-ran Shmups Wiki now has several games listed, including many by CAVE: https://shmups.wiki/library/CAVE

I looked through and couldn't find a single page that lists the forum in the references, even though I can see a lot of the info on the SH3 games was originally posted here. I was the first person to post the Futari 1.0 Ultra unlock code, for example:

http://cave-stg.com/forum/index.php?topic=371.msg6006#msg6006

On the bright side some of the pages are quite good (e.g. Ibara) and contain useful info not posted here. I just think you need to give credit where it is due, otherwise it's plagiarism.

Oh, that's unfortunate. Personally, I haven't edited much since August 2020. I bumped the thread mostly for others to keep me accountable haha. On this page here, you can see in real time who's editing a given page: https://shmups.wiki/library/Special:RecentChanges

Regarding that Futari code, someone did post a reference but it was to this 2012 video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=72aArwdibz8

I've gone and added your link as a second source, you can see page version differences here: https://shmups.wiki/index.php?title=Mushihimesama_Futari&type=revision&diff=9252&oldid=9212

Cheers for that.  :righton:
No problem! Instead of bumping really old threads around the forums, I might bump this one instead from time to time with links to the messages instead. There's content over here almost 15 years old so I wouldn't like to add info that's outdated. All with proper reference, of course.

I moved this over to the Other Shooters forum, because the Shmups Wiki is a source of info on all STGs, not just CAVE. It's a good resource for the non-CAVE stuff.
