that extra bullet pattern during dooms last phase was a shock of the highest calibur! The player probably would have got a no miss if it wasn't for whatever that blue shit barrage was. It looks like the opening pattern from the third form of the true boss on DOJ

I'm quite disappointed by 2nd loop gameplay in Power Style, way too much absorbing and stuff and not enough pattern dodging... I just don't like it. I guess Bomb style must be more interesting.

You still have to dodge the bullets. Even in power style, they only do the bullet cancel/laser push back thing for the first half of the stage in the second loop. After that you have to remain out of hyper mode and just dodge shit to get any type of good score. It's pretty damn hard.

Not only that, but even when you have your shot blasting, some bullets can occasionally make it through, so you have to figure out whether you can dodge or not.

Yes. That is a pain. It creates a lot of tension and you definitely have to dodge a lot (as well as press A and C in a good rhythm).
