This is the Deathsmiles Mega Black Label high score thread.

Rules: no continues, and default live stock, difficulty, and extends. Submit in the order shown in the table. The PCB has separate rankings for each character, so I've set up similar rankings here.

Key for all tables:
SCORE - NAME - STAGE (L=X/5, BxX for ALL scores) - Character

L=X/5 for ALL scores indicates how many life containers you finished the game with (for example, if you finish the game with 2 full life containers, list it as L=2/5, if you finish with 3.5 life containers, list it as L=3.5/5)

Went through the ice palace, but skipped the canyon.

Pretty good run, went through the ice palace but skipped the canyon. Maxed the multiplier at 100,000 early on in the Ice Palace and held it through about half of the stage, which gave me about 1.5bil of this score. Rocking the +100,000 skulls with gold crowns crashing all around you non-stop is an awesome thrill.

Here's a score I'm fairly happy with:

Went through the ice palace and kept the 100,000 multiplier through nearly the whole level (died once towards the end).
Skipped the canyon as usual, but this score is probably as good as I'm going to get with my current strats so future
runs will include the canyon.

I went through the palace and the canyon this time, nearly made it to Jitterbug but had two stupid deaths in 5-2, ending my game.

I'm not confident enough with the canyon; every time I have a good run I just skip it because I'm sure it will fuck me up and I don't really score well on it anyway. Route was

Lakeside (3) > Graveyard (999) > Forest (3) > Volcano (3) > Halloween Town (3) > Swamp (3) > Ice Palace > Castle

Either way, this was my first MBL clear so I'm pretty happy regardless. Both EX is possible but I'll need to grow a pair and stop running away from the canyon before it happens. If I can make it to Jitterbug with a full powerup and maybe a spare life I should be able to pull it off.

Nothing special here - I just started playing Deathsmiles again having put it down last year after a couple quick clears.  I think I'm really gonna try and play more serious.  I put a few credits in having never really tried Windia and got:
