PDP Fightpads

I saw these pads that really resemble the Neo Geo CD controllers in that they have micro switches for the stick (this actually has micro switches for the face buttons as well).  Has anyone tried these? They look really interesting, but I've heard the initial releases had some issues with breaking after several months though I believe they are in their 3rd revision.  I couldn't find any information on SRK that wasn't generic information.

I generally prefer arcade sticks, but this would be a nice controller when emulating non-arcade games and it would also be really portable.
