I know there's this weird glitch in the last level but nonetheless, still seeing someone beating the WR other and other again 24 years after the games' release

The leaderboard of the PC port of Deathsmiles MBL shows a 14,172,992,374 Casper score (Normal X360 mode, not Arcade mode). Ends at 5-2 boss though; player is cpf. No replay.

edit: fair point by EOJ. cfp seems to be a real player (a search for cpf デススマイルズ turns up a google description that mentions MBL on his Garegga video of all things, though I can't find anything on the video page itself) but there's nothing in his profile here that suggests WR skills.

Eh, a billion more than the WR on the PCB, on the Steam version that has all the slowdown removed, and not even a 1CC? Not a chance that score is legit.

SPE finally did it! It took him many months of work, but today he beat SWY's long-standing 607mil Deathsmiles EX score with Casper.
