Definitely didn't.  And it even says, "Scrapped" in parenthesis next to them.
Although Oni Death sounds an awful lot like it could've been a Guwange beta (which we know from an interview translated by The Fair Gaijin Punch was started right after ESPRade... and that it went through many changes before the final version) and Danmaku Tengoku, as well, could easily be a DDP Proto.

EDIT: Other possibility: dick-around projects for new hires and interns.  Apparently this is how Zero Wing started!

Maybe we'll find out in the new book

Balck Label, nice typo.

Wonder why the order is wrong nearer the bottom too.

GaijinPunch

That numbering is the most confusing thing I've seen next to the Japanese underground map and every Japanese website ever made.

I'm gonna quote this as it appeared twice.

Really?  It looks to me like it's just order of release, with B indicating a Black Label of that number.  Sorta like a record label's catalog or something.

Here's hoping they reuse the name "Danmaku Tengoku" for some future title, as that carries a heck of a lot of potential.

The problem is they slap DSMBL and DSII down on the bottom of the list together, even though both were released before Daifukkatsu BL.

Perhaps project CA019B was started first then put on hold?

And +1 for Danmaku Paradise being the best name ever.

Yeah, this would support the record label catalogue style numbering system. Even if it's delayed by three years and breaks sequence in some crazy way, you still give it the same CAT number you initially designated.

Oh, right.  I don't know if DSMBL has had any weird revisions, but I wonder if they counted DSII by when they released the final version--4.0 came after DFKBL, didn't it?

antares

I wonder why number 18 is missing?

Nope, DSII 4.0 came out November 2009, Daifukkatsu BL came out January 2010.

This shirt sums up what long-term residence in Japan is: amazingly confusing.

It's like living in some sort of weird time warp.  With missing numbers.
