I am surprised, GalGun is actually a fun game. Sure it's easy and it would play better with a real light gun, but it's essentially a classic rail shooter with high school girls and some visual novel style elements. Gameplay is split between story scenes where I have no idea what's going on, but you make selections, and shooting scenes. For the shooting scenes the game scrolls along on a rail, ducking in and out from cover as you try to avoid the girls attacks. Occasionally you'll hit them in the right place at the right time for a one shot kill.
Wish i could understand japanese so i knew what the hell was going on in the mini games, but otherwise it's a hoot. Strangely I can't find a way to refine my aim and move the cursor slower aside from zooming in.
