mystery ibara black label pcb

Yes,
got a ibara black label pcb from sophia the last days. Got a mistake at the third endboss. - I only got the backgrounds after a while.- Only scrolling backgrounds with music.
If i press credit and two other buttons ( from the four ) the game resets. Realy not sure if this is ok.
Maybe someone here who also has the pcb can test it for me.

I've never had that glitch and played past the 3rd boss dozens of times. I haven't checked the button thing. What is your boot date version? Is it

"2006/02/06 MASTER VER."

or

"2006/02/06. MASTER VER."

or something else?

Sounds like there's something wrong with your PCB. I'd send it back.

It is the version:
"2006/02/06 MASTER VER."

The reset is also when you only press credit and one other button.
I have a normal 4 button + credit + start button supergun setup.

Anyway got this response from sophia:

1)NO ENEMY ON THE 3RD STAGE
IT?S DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND REASON.
HOWEVER, CAVE SAID THAT IT SEEMS AN ERROR OF READING HAPPENED AT THAT TIME.
WOULD YOU PLEASE SEND IT BACK TO US ONCE?
WE WANT TO SEND IT TO CAVE IF YOU COULD ACCEPT.
 
2)RESET
CAVE SAYS IT IS NORMAL SPECIFICATION.
THIS PCB IS FOR BUSINESS USE.
IN ORDINARY CASES, NO BODY PUSH COIN SWITCH TOGETHER WITH OTHER BUTTONS IN GAME CENTERS.

You should see if you can sneak in a sound fix for SDOJ while you have them as a captive audience and cheap additional shipping cost. My friend and I got nowhere in our quest.

I don't. I was thinking maybe yours might be some earlier version with no dots that I've never seen that had a bug but that would be a really serious one so, something on the board has just gone bad. Cool that Cave is going to service it.

-  switch to free play now and didn`t have any probems till now. Maybe the wrong loading only was caused by the soft reset.
I will play it a week and hope the mistake will not come back.

A realy cool game, but the endboss fights are too strong for my taste. The in game levels are easy.
-Need more practise. - Wonder how the original ibara plays.

If the levels are easy you prob aren't playing for score..  The game needs it..

Sure, i know. Guess i need more practise and use this terror counter much more to get more extralives.
