So, were there a lot of people lined up to score on this game or was it a thin crowd?
It was a decent crowd. I went a few hours after it started and the high score sheet had plenty of names on it. A lot of people were hanging around the booth too, but I don't know if they might have been there for BlazBlue: CS, which I think is probably a little more popular and was right next to Deathsmiles.

I put the faceplate up for auction. You can find the thread and link in the trading forum. I'm curious about who won on Saturday now because no one has come forward so I'm thinking if they did give out another faceplate to the Saturday winner (although it's entirely possible this is one-of-a-kind since I'm pretty sure I have the same exact faceplate Aksys took a picture of for their blog), then that person probably doesn't realize they have something valuable and it might not ever end up on eBay. Maybe some schmuck won it. :/

I had too many things to do Saturday and didn't really have time to stop by the Aksys booth for a second try, nor did I know they were holding second tries at all since my internet access was really limited during the con.  Oh well.

I can't really complain, since I won a Core i7-975 from Intel on Saturday instead.

You weren't supposed to be able to try again I don't think, I just thought it might have been possible. A Core i7-975 is pretty sweet though! I really should have been going around looking for more contests to enter I suppose.
