Title: Dangun Feveron question
Post by: bitkid on September 20, 2008, 02:03:28 AM
Does anyone know why Clover-YMN uses his last bomb right before the TLB in the superplay? Right after he defeats the last boss he goes up in the top left corner and uses his bomb for no apparent reason. Accident? Some benefit?

He wasn't playing for score. He jsut wanted to demonstrate a fight against the TLB. If he would have played for score, it would be a no miss/no bomb/no disco man loss play of course.

Ah I see. But why get rid of a perfectly good bomb tho? Seems a bit silly considering he clearly isn't afraid to use bombs.

You are invincible against the TLB unless you use a bomb on it, then you can die.  He was just demonstrating what a normal fight would look like against the TLB.  If he didn't bomb, he would have been invinvible and not able to die.

I think you're only invincible if you no bomb the whole game. Since he has used tons of bombs before it didn't matter anyway.

You are still invincible if you use bombs during your run.  There is a run labelled (df1-3.avi and df4-last.avi) where the player bombs throughout the levels and is still invincible against the tlb.
