This was announced today at Sony's State of Play:

It will also be released on Xbox Series, Switch 1 & 2, and Steam.

I'm really excited for this! I love the original MK arcade games and this will include all of them plus nearly every home port! I play these all the time in emulators on my computer, and it will be really nice to be able to play them on consoles with online play. It doesn't look like MK3 on the PS1 or UMK3 on the Saturn will be in here (which I play a lot, as I really like those versions), but I guess that's asking too much. BTW I play & enjoy the SNES version of MKII just as much as the arcade version.

It would be REALLY nice if they included the different arcade ROM versions for each game as well, but I doubt it. MKII has many available ROMs, each one with noticeable differences in moves (sometimes in inputs), finishers, AI, etc. Same deal with MK3.

What's been announced so far:

Mortal Kombat – 1992: Arcade, SNES, Genesis, Game Boy, Game Gear
Mortal Kombat II -1993: Arcade, SNES, Genesis, Game Boy, 32X
Mortal Kombat 3 – 1995: Arcade, SNES, Genesis
Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 – 1995: Arcade, SNES
    Mortal Kombat 4 – 1997: Arcade
Mortal Kombat Advance – 2001: Game Boy Advance
Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance – 2002: Game Boy Advance
Mortal Kombat: Tournament Edition – 2003: Game Boy Advance

There are more games/versions to be announced as well (hopefully Mortal Kombat Trilogy is among them).
