If you're talking about the Cave logo itself, I think emphatic is right. I always thought it looked like OCR which is a default Windows font.

I'm looking for this page that let you compile a logo out of several shmup ingredients. For instance, the Darius-font for the name, Vic Viper shooting the R-Type laser on the left and a Gate of Thunder boss on the right. I just can't find it no more, but it was very popular on shmups.com a year ago or so >_<
