Shmups wiki is erroneous here. You cannot unlock it with a 1CC. Only the code works.

PCB / DDP DFK 1.5 Strong style won't...

Hi, I was just messing around with my new DFK 1.5 PCB and noticed Strong style isn't unlocked by default.
I've just followed what I found here: shmups wiki

But after a 1-ALL run with bomb style, strong style is still locked. I cannot easily enter the code now so I'd rather use the 1cc way.
Is the wiki wrong?
Thanks in advance.

I've never seen any footage. It was playable at one or two CAVE Festivals in late 2006 and/or 2007. Apparently the scoring was somewhat like Ketsui, with faster and more frequent switching between shot and laser. I think the boot-up screen said "Score Trial Version", or something like that. May have been a prototype for Futari BL Original Mode.

CAVE held a scoring competition at the festival where the top three scorers went home with the PCB. ABI got one (he holds the world records in 1.5 Original mode). I don't remember who the other two were, but I remember the third place score was much lower than the other two, so that guy/gal was quite lucky to win it. As far as I know these PCBs have never been put up for sale, anywhere.

I know there are like 3 copies of this game, but couldn't find any other info about it.

So, is there any footage about this game?

I recommend all users turn on two-factor authentication in their account settings.

I added a patch to fix a bug in SMF 2.1.6 that was causing a delay, or non-delivery, of email notifications. Let me know if there are any remaining issues.

This bug will also be fixed in SMF 2.1.7, though it's unclear when that update will release.

Somewhat underwhelming. Did someone at the office open a store cupboard they forgot about?

Looks like they're selling A2 posters for 2,000 yen each soon:

DOJ, DFK BL, Mushi, Mushi 1.5 Matsuri Ver, Deathsmiles, etc.

The arcade originals are B2 size, so these are smaller.

The little sign in Japanese on each poster says "not for sale".

I got the Switch physical version the other day. I bought it new from Amazon, and much to my surprise, it has the DLC characters (for Deathsmiles) on the cart. So, it's a pretty good deal!

Deathsmiles II does not look ugly like it does on the PS4 version. It's not quite as sharp and colorful as the XSX version, but it's pleasing enough. DSII X mode does have more slowdown than the XSX or PS4 versions, both of which lack 90% of the original slowdown. However, the Switch version is still missing about 30-40% of the slowdown in the X360 original. There is also a choppy framerate on the map screen as you transition to a new stage; this does not occur in the XSX or PS4 versions (or the X360 original). The rank was "corrected" in the Switch/XSX/PS4 ports, so the extra amusement park stage is noticeably more difficult. Overall, the Switch version is the most playable among the versions on current consoles, and with a separate scoreboard from the X360 original, it could be a fun score attack. Unfortunately, Deathsmiles II Arcade mode on Switch is exactly the same as the XSX and PS4 versions, and it is missing about 40-50% of the X360 version's slowdown. Still playable with a character like Casper, but more difficult.

For me, I'll play DSII X on Switch, and the rest of the modes on XSX. For DS/DSMBL, either Switch or XSX is fine. PS4 is the worst port of them all, and I don't see any reason to play it anymore; DS/DSMBL are fine on it, however, and if all you have is a PS4 or PS5, it's worth it.
