There is a list of these at http://mtlayk.web.fc2.com/Top/TopFr.htm, but it is not up to date, so I looked online, through Arcadia magazine scans on archive.org, and the archives of JHA, and found the most recent ones:

Metal Slug WR: 3,563,500 - Ben Shinobi (w/autofire) (Nov 2014) / Highest score in Japan is 3,443,650 - WSM-NOB (w/ autofire) (Arcadia 167, Jan 2015)
Metal Slug 2 WR: 9,485,050 ゴースト骨塚 (Arcadia 85, Jun 2007)
Metal Slug X WR: 7,739,450 いもっこ太郎@緑画失敗orz (Initials: IMO) (Arcadia 144, May 2012)
Metal Slug 3 WR: 11,155,240 CYS-SAK (JHA, July 2017)
Metal Slug 4 WR: 8,150,000 WSM-NOB (JHA, May 2017)

Arcadia, at least, did not distinguish between scores with or without autofire, but it seems the MS2 score was done without it.

All of these except Ben Shinobi's score were done at an arcade in Japan (but still, Ben played on original hardware, so his score is valid). And all were at default MVS difficulty (LV4), of course.

There is a higher scoring MS2 replay on Youtube by Aozaki (10.7mil), but it was done on an emulator, and I'm not sure if it is a TAS or not.

Best Metal Slug 4 replay I've found that is a no-miss, doesn't have excessive milking, and is still rather high scoring (5.8mil) is this one (on original MVS hardware), by the Japanese player KAZ:

Lots of great Metal Slug 2 videos out there, but I found Reshio's live no-miss 1CC on the MVS version at Mikado arcade to be quite helpful:

I particularly like his bridge strat on ST6, which I used, and which makes this difficult part of the stage fairly trivial. I haven't seen this in other MS2 vids. If you time it just right you don't even need to toss any bombs (except the initial two bombs to get it started) as your gun will clip all the enemies from the right of the screen. Usually I need to throw a few bombs to take out a couple guys who make it through, but that's still pretty easy.
